Parafest 2014

Yes its back for 2014, the Parafest is to be held later this year with hopefully better weather than the
previous two years.

So the dates for your diary;…. the weekend of Fri 5 - Sun 7th September, and of course
at the Chippingham show ground. So dry out your tent and airbeds and prepare your family or friends. See
last years Parafest 2013 Report as to what fun you can have, don’t miss it!!

There will be a desire this year to keep costs down and you can help by…

• Do you know of a marquee that could be loaned or hired cheaply for the weekend. It needs t o be of a
size greater than m x 8m and could be utilised in the Parafest in case of bad weather.

• Likewise do you have another skill or expertise you could showcase at the Parafest to the non flyers.

• any other ideas welcomed to improve the Parafest Experience.!

Any offer of help to any member of the committee or to Billy Maxwell!
Finally as always the Parafest will welcome all current BHPA members, or those with requisite qualifications
and comparable current third party insurance, as well as partners, families, and interested friends to come
and join in the fun. !

Christmas Curry Night 2013

By Graham Jones on  December 3, 2013 18:52

I know its not that time yet but its appropriate. Pennine Soaring Clubs Annual Crimbo Curry night was voted in on the last club meeting for Friday the 6th December. So if you weren't there you didnt get to vote and you missed out on a super informative Xc meeting and a chance to vote.
So after years of research and experience we have come up the the plan of "Lets do exactly what we always do and where we always do it"! And why? Because it works. So the plan of action is to dine at the Spice of Bengal Matt Preston BaileyMeeting at the pub down the road on the right (towards town), Think its the Old Black Bull? from 6.30 to 7 leaving to get to Curry house for 8.
Please can you let me know who is attending so I can book the tables, at least a few day notice would be nice. Email or text or pigeon to Andy Mc escapeglidersuk@gmail.com or 07872064313 or FB
Wives, husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends all welcome.
